I love my community and have been a lifelong resident of Pell City. I consider this area of Alabama to be my home and have a strong understanding of the St Clair, Talladega, and Shelby County markets. Before obtaining my real estate license in 2020, I served in many different roles in the banking industry for 23 years then worked as a real estate investor and property manager for 15 years.
As a banker, I worked and trained my teams to focus on establishing lasting relationships with our clients by operating as dream merchants instead of traditional bankers. We counseled hundreds of clients with their borrowing, saving and investment needs as lived out their journey through life. This covered everything from helping young adults get started setting up budgets and learning how to handle money to assisting families manage their finances to borrow for college expenses or a dream vacation home.
My background in the financial industry and as a real estate investor has given me a unique perspective and skill set for assisting clients with their real estate needs including making a successful decision for their financial life. I can help all kinds of clients such as first-time home buyers, property investors, and experienced home buyers and it is my top priority to provide excellent service and results for any client I represent.
I attended UAB where I earned a Bachelor of Science Degrees in Finance, Accounting, and an MBA in Finance. I am also a Certified Financial Coach for Dave Ramsey and work with individuals and families in the community on how to win with their finances.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife Donna and our three children Kayla, Erin, and Ben. I am also committed to supporting our local school system. In 2012, I lead a team that established the nonprofit status for the Pell City School System’s band booster program. I also served as board president for several years. Additionally, I headed a team that developed a fundraising process that lead to the program being able to provide equipment, uniforms, instruments, and financial support for students that otherwise would not have been able to participate in the school’s band program.
