Jim Lawrence, Keith Arendall and Maurice Humphries founded Lawrence-Arendall-Humphries Real Estate, Inc. in the spring of 1992. Today the company has grown to become Birmingham’s largest locally-owned real estate company with over 220 associates.

In the fall of 2011, Tom Carruthers, Mike Graham, Charles Robinson and Maurice Humphries acquired the ownership interest of Lawrence and Arendall. The new owners are committed to continuing the level of professionalism that LAH has become known for in the Birmingham marketplace.

LAH Residential focuses on listing and selling homes in the “Over The Mountain” markets of Mountain Brook, Homewood, Vestavia Hills and Hoover in addition to other neighborhoods throughout the Birmingham-Hoover metropolitan area. In 2013, LAH opened a residential office on 30A in Santa Rosa Beach to provide the same excellent level of service to residents of the Emerald Coast.
